| This full-time position reports to the Coordinator of Cataloging and Metadata Services Librarian, performs the highest-level cataloging, and is responsible for a variety of library tasks including complex edit, adaptive, and original cataloging in all formats. This position possesses an advanced understanding of cataloging rules, standards and the ability to interpret overall library policy and procedures. Ability to resolve complex cataloging issues; contributes analysis and quality assessment of vendor supplied records; works independently to solve problems. This position also works closely with the Curator of Special Collections, subject-specialist librarians and other staff to create enhanced bibliographic access to materials. Supervises and trains hourly cataloging staff as needed. |

| The Learning Effectiveness program was founded in 1982 as an academic support program for University of Denver students with learning disabilities. Our mission is to support learning and neurodiversity by providing students opportunities and resources for personal growth, academic skill building, and connection.
Working under the Dean of Student's office in Student Affairs and Inclusive Excellence, The Learning Effectiveness Program (LEP) has developed some of the most comprehensive and innovative support services provided at the post-secondary level. Our nationally recognized program serves over 350 students each year.
The Learning Effectiveness Program (LEP) at the University of Denver is now hiring tutors for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year. We need tutors who have a strong background in college-level Business, Engineering/Computer Science, Humanities, Languages, Mathematics, Science, and Social Sciences from entry-level to advanced level. This position works under the direction of the Tutoring Coordinator and LEP Associate Director. LEP Tutors assist students in building confidence, independence, and academic skills in a one-on-one setting. Tutors are also responsible for providing students with access to resources that will encourage them to achieve academic goals.
