The Department of Management at Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver is looking to hire adjunct instructors for the 2021-2022 academic year to teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses, such as Business Communications, Business for Public Good, Project Management, Leading Organizations and Management Consulting as well as special-topics courses. This posting will serve for multiple openings.
Adjunct faculty are required to teach twice a week, hold office hours, assign papers and exams as appropriate and be available to assist students with assignments. The University operates on a quarter system.
- Master's degree.
- Previous teaching experience.
- Ability to teach well at the university level.
- College-level teaching experience.
Fall Quarter: Best consideration date is June 15, 2021
Winter Quarter: Best consideration date is September 15, 2021
Spring Quarter: Best consideration date is November 15, 2021
Adjunct faculty are compensated at a rate of $1058.25 per credit hour and may teach up to a maximum of six courses over three academic quarters (Fall, Winter, Spring).
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, available market information, and course enrollment, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
