The Sturm College of Law is accepting applications for adjunct faculty to teach courses in the MSLA Program for the Summer, Fall and Spring semesters of the 2023-2024 academic year. Adjunct faculty positions are non-benefited positions. Adjunct faculty are required to teach as scheduled, hold office hours, assign papers and exams as appropriate and be available to assist students with assignments. Adjunct faculty are also required to comply with all University of Denver COVID-19 protocols. The Sturm College of Law operates on a semester system.
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 3 years working in the legal industry
- Ability to teach at the university level
- Law degree or other professional degree
- Previous online teaching experience
- Previous law school or college-level teaching experience
While the University’s administrative offices are open Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, faculty schedules vary from term to term and are based on courses taught, service commitments, and research agendas. The compensation for this position will be $5,244 for a 3 credit course.
