The University of Denver Prison Arts Initiative (DU PAI) promotes access to high-quality therapeutic arts programs to incarcerated people in Colorado with the goal of empowering individuals to improve the quality of their lives and prepare to make positive changes in their communities upon release. Position Summary
The University of Denver Prison Arts Initiative (DU PAI) is seeking to hire a part-time Director of Creative Media. As Director of Creative Media, this person will act as the General Manager and Program Director of DU PAIs Inside Wire: Colorado Prison Radio and works to weave DU PAI programming (i.e., The Inside Report Newspaper, Reverberations Magazine, Theatre Productions, etc.) to the Inside Wire Platform.
This is a non-benefited position not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.

- Monitoring signal, trouble shooting, and maintaining licenses
- Social media engagement and cultivating new partnerships and listeners

- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills; ability to interact with individuals at all levels

- Ability to prioritize and multitask under tight deadlines
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects
Required Qualifications
- Applicant must be a resident of Colorado
- Bachelor's degree OR equivalent, relevant experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Impeccable and exacting organizational skills and attention to detail
Work Schedule
Part-Time, 5 hours per week

Hourly Rate
The hourly rate for the position is $38.00.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
