Cataloging Technician IV in Denver, CO
This full-time position reports to the Coordinator of Cataloging and Metadata Services Librarian, performs the highest-level cataloging, and is responsible for a variety of library tasks including complex edit, adaptive, and original cataloging in all formats. This position possesses an advanced understanding of cataloging rules, standards and the ability to interpret overall library policy and procedures. Ability to resolve complex cataloging issues; contributes analysis and quality assessment of vendor supplied records; works independently to solve problems. This position also works closely with the Curator of Special Collections, subject-specialist librarians and other staff to create enhanced bibliographic access to materials. Supervises and trains hourly cataloging staff as needed.
