The CWLC at the University of Denver seeks to hire instructors for Japanese, Korean, and Portuguese community language courses during the academic year of 2026/2027. These non-credit language courses will expand the current Community Language Courses Portfolio offerings. Instructors will teach 1 to 2 courses per session based on needs: one course at the novice level and one for learners with more experience. Instructors could teach up to 6 classes per academic year (2 each session). Typical enrollment ranges between 3 and 15 students per class. The ideal candidate demonstrates experience in teaching adult learners, and proficiency in communicative, task-based teaching methods.
