Position Summary

These positions support students and student programs on campus. These positions help provide direction and support for student affairs programs and academic support services by aiding students, parents, and faculty to in areas like enrollment management, student health services, housing, campus recreation, student activities, career development, and academic program administration. Positions can include:

  • Residence Hall Assistant
  • Classroom Assistant
  • Admissions Assistant
  • Financial Aid Assistant
  • Advisor
  • Student Health Worker
  • Help Desk Worker
  • Tour Guide

These are non-benefited, part-time positions not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.

Essential Functions

  • Work directly with students, parents and faculty to support functions such as enrollment, financial aid, housing, campus life, career services, academic planning and advising, and health services.
  • Duties may include administrative, financial, organizational, customer service and advising tasks.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills to include verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain all required certifications and licensures as they pertain to the role.

Required Qualifications

  • Professional experience, training or education.
  • Proven potential for success in area of work.

Work Schedule

Part-time, hours will vary depending upon position.

Hourly Range

The hourly range for this position is $18.29 - $30.00. 

The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
