Position Summary
The public address announcer position is non-benefited and is responsible for announcing athletic events and contracted sponsorship obligations.
These are non-benefited positions not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.
Essential Functions
- Announce in-contest occurrences (i.e. substitutions, goals, penalties)
- Announce sponsored elements in accordance with contractual obligations
- Serve as a master of ceremonies for assigned events

Required Qualifications
Working Environment
- Possibility of working both indoors and outdoors depending on the event
- Noise level can be high at times

Work Schedule
Part-time, hours will vary. Evenings and weekends during Varsity sports seasons are needed.

Hourly Range
The hourly range for this position is $19.00- $25.00.

The compensation offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
