Position Summary

This position reports to the Director of Visit Programs and is responsible for managing the Slate CRM system for the Visit Team in addition to connecting prospective students to campus partners to better understand what DU has to offer. DU’s visit program welcomes 26,000 visitors each year and contributes to the overall recruitment and enrollment efforts of Undergraduate Admission by developing, implementing, and assessing ways for interested constituents to gain a more thorough understanding of the University of Denver. Through communication, data analysis, coordination and customer service, this position ensures that all touchpoints with visitors are delivered with exceptional quality service.

Essential Functions

CRM and Communication Management (50%)

  • Manage Slate CRM for all visit programming including visit registration forms and portals as well as all event communications, follow up surveys and process enhancements to ensure we execute the various aspects of a complex, individualized visit program.
  • Knowledge maintenance: Working with staff to know and understand their various programs and workflows to ensure that all content and data is consistent, accurate and on brand; regularly evaluate and update content to reflect the changing dynamics of both the programs/information and the audiences we interact with on a regular basis.
  • Build custom reports and dashboards with descriptive statistics and visualizations of visitor demographics, event types and student outcomes. Conduct year-end data analysis in Slate CRM, Microsoft Excel, R and/or Tableau summarizing survey results and yield outcomes. 
  • Act as liaison between visit and communication teams, including content approval and management of recipient lists and audiences.

Campus Visit Coordination (40%)

  • Liaise and foster relationships with 30+ campus units to arrange and execute high-quality individualized appointments to further support the mission of Undergraduate Admission through the visit experience.
  • Supports the Campus Tour Guide Supervisor of 80+ student employees by attending meetings, assisting with the onboarding and training of new and continuing guides, and acting as the main point of contact when the supervisor is unavailable.

  • Data Management: Ability to read, analyze, interpret and report on visit/survey and enrollment management data. Ability to explain complex data to a wide variety of people. Understand industry and data trends for a program/project/plan and translate into measurable action plans.
  • Independent and Collaborative Worker: Demonstrated independent and forward thinking and ability to work well within a team with a high level of professionalism. Strong relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity including the understanding and appreciation for cultural differences that impact the student experience.
  • Customer Service Skills: Ability to provide exceptional customer service to students and families who are trying to navigate the admissions process.
  • Detail Oriented: Process oriented thinking and ability to pay careful attention to detail.
  • Organization and Time Management Skills: Ability to juggle a wide variety of tasks and effectively prioritize responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Analytics, Computer Science, Communications, or similar field.
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • One year of office experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Analytics, Computer Science, Communications, or similar field.
  • CRM experience
  • Experience with HTML, CSS or RDBMS is a bonus.
  • Experience in an admission or administrative setting

Working Environment

  • Standard office environment.
  • Unexpected interruptions occur often, and stress level is moderate to high.
  • Noise level is quiet to moderate

Physical Activities

  • Ability to sit in front of a computer for an extended period.
  • Occasionally required to move about the office/campus with the capability of transporting objects up to 20 lbs.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Salary Grade Number

The salary grade for the position is 6.

Hourly Range

The hourly range for the position is $23.00-$25.50.

The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
