Individual with expertise in cell culture, mice handling, and a wide range of molecular biology techniques. Extensive experience in culturing and maintaining various cell lines. Hands-on experience with animal models, particularly in performing surgical techniques, injections, and sample collection from mice, such as blood and tissue. Monitoring animal health, behavior, and overall well-being, ensuring appropriate housing and environmental conditions for the success of experiments. Additionally, knowledge in molecular biology techniques such as PCR, western blotting, SDS-PAGE, and protein analysis methods. Required experience with tissue processing methods like perfusion, brain isolation, and cryo-sectioning, as well as proficiency in immunocytochemistry and immunostaining. This is a non-benefited position not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year. This is a Part-Time grant funded position with an appointment length until December 31, 2026. Work Schedule 9:00am-5:00pmHourly Range:The hourly range for the position is $20.00 - $30.00. The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
