We are hiring for USAG Women's DP levels 3-5.

Essential Functions:

  • Conduct Practices: Responsible for conducting gymnastics practice with a group of 8-10 athletes. Coach is responsible for flexibility, conditioning, skill instruction/spotting and USAG DP routine development on all four events
  • Practice Preparation: Responsible for creating and executing practice plans, setting up and tearing down equipment, communicating plan with fellow coaches and athletes. Also responsible for checking the gym and equipment for safety before and after classes.
  • Meet Attendance: Coach will attend and perform coaching duties at all meets.
  • Maintenance of attendance records and monitoring athlete progress
  • Communication with athletes and parents
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications: 

  • 1+ years USAG competitive gymnastics coaching experience
  • Ability to spot all skills associated with assigned group level
  • CPR/FA/AED (Adult and Pediatric) Certification (must obtain by start date)
  • USAG Competitive Coach Membership (must obtain by start date)
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm and ability to inspire and motivate athletes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years USAG competitive gymnastics coaching experience Exceptional spotting skills up to level 5.
  • Knowledge of USAG DPL routines/requirements
  • Experience attending meets with athletes
  • Current USAG Professional Membership

Work Schedule

Weekday Evenings (2-3 days/week) 4:45 P.M. – 8:15 P.M. Weekends (as required for meets during competition season).

Hourly Range

The hourly range for this position is $20.00-$23.00
