The office manages prospective student engagement from prospect through enrollment and works in partnership with the University of Denver Office of Graduate Enrollment and other campus partners to support student success and institutional enrollment goals. In addition, the office supports recruitment and yield efforts for undergraduate programs within the Korbel School and collaborates closely with academic departments, faculty, marketing, and university stakeholders. Position Summary The Associate Director of Enrollment Operations and Recruitment manages enrollment operations, CRM strategy, stakeholder engagement, funnel management, and recruitment initiatives that support graduate and undergraduate enrollment goals. This role serves as a primary administrator of Slate and is responsible for managing enrollment communications, recruitment workflows, data reporting, partnership development, and operational processes that guide prospective students from inquiry through enrollment. The Associate Director supports and implements strategies to improve enrollment funnel performance, evaluate recruitment and event effectiveness, strengthen stakeholder and partner relationships, and enhance the prospective student experience. The position works collaboratively with academic and administrative partners across the University and actively represents the Korbel School through recruitment activities, partnership development, enrollment events, and enrollment planning. Essential Functions Enrollment and CRM Operations Lead enrollment operations, CRM/Slate workflows and reporting, stakeholder engagement, and funnel management efforts that support graduate and undergraduate recruitment, admissions, and yield goals. Serve as a primary Slate administrator and subject matter expert, managing communications, workflows, forms, events, reports, and other enrollment-related processes. Develop, implement, and assess recruitment and yield communication strategies and campaigns to improve inquiry, application, admission, and enrollment outcomes. Collaborate with Korbel Marketing and Communications to develop, refine, and evaluate recruitment and yield messaging across communication channels to support enrollment goals and enhance the prospective student experience. Monitor enrollment funnel performance, analyze recruitment and event effectiveness, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve conversion rates and enrollment results. Generate reports, dashboards, and analyses to support enrollment planning, forecasting, decision-making, and continuous improvement efforts. Maintain data integrity and support data governance, quality assurance, and operational efficiency across enrollment systems and processes. Manage admissions and recruitment operations, including application workflows, decision processes, documentation, and process improvement initiatives. Develop and manage strategic recruitment partnerships and stakeholder relationships that support enrollment growth, while evaluating partnership effectiveness and outcomes. Recruiting and Admissions Review Represent the Korbel School through recruitment travel, fairs, conferences, information sessions, webinars, partnership meetings, and enrollment events. Advise and engage prospective students throughout the recruitment cycle regarding academic programs, admissions requirements, scholarships, and enrollment processes. Plan, execute, and evaluate recruitment and yield events, presentations, and outreach initiatives designed to increase engagement and enrollment. Participate in application review, admissions decision-making, scholarship communications, enrollment planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives. Other Duties Provide training and guidance to staff and student employees on enrollment systems, processes, and best practices. Perform other duties as assigned in support of the mission of the Josef Korbel School of Global and Public Affairs. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Five years of progressively responsible professional experience in admissions, enrollment management, recruitment, student services, higher education administration, customer service, non-profit sector or a related field. Experience administering and optimizing CRM or related enterprise systems/tools to support organizational objectives. Experience analyzing data, developing reports and dashboards, and using insights to inform strategic decision-making and process improvement. Demonstrated experience developing and implementing communication or engagement strategies that support organizational goals. Experience building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated experience presenting to diverse audiences and representing an institution or organization in professional settings. Strong organizational, analytical, project management, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead complex projects, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and independent decision-making. Ability to travel domestically in support of recruitment and partnership activities. Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends in alignment with recruitment, yield, and enrollment cycles. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in higher education, public administration, business, communications, international affairs, or a related field. Experience serving as a Slate administrator or advanced Slate user, including management of communications, workflows, forms, events, reports, and CRM processes. Experience evaluating enrollment or sales funnels and implementing strategies to improve conversion, yield, and enrollment outcomes. Experience creating dashboards, predictive analyses, performance metrics, or reporting to support strategic planning and enrollment management. Experience developing and managing strategic partnerships. Experience working with enterprise technologies and tools. Working Environment Standard office environment. The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting.
